I always come back here for their Golden Lava Toast, it’s sooo good! And you have to order their HK milk tea too, it’s not like the usual milk tea that you find on bubble tea shops which contains a lot of sugar. For food, I tried their beef chow fun and salt pepper fish over rice this. Honestly, you can find something better somewhere else. Taste wise, both were not as good as you’d expect from a HK restaurant, the chow fun was quite bland and the salt pepper fish was too salty.

Came in on a Saturday night and had to wait ish mins. Packed but service was pretty quick. The black sesame toast and steak baked fried rice were really good but my girlfriend got food poisoning from the assorted beef soup. Sort of in between “damn is there something wrong with this food”and “damn I’m immediately regretting eating this” levels, or so she says. Also it’s cash or venmo only, I paid with cash and the waiter literally came back to me and said the tip wasn’t enough hahaha. Sort of my fault cause he asked if he could keep the change and I said yes while I planned to leave my actual tip on the table when we left. Still rubbed me the wrong way that he immediately came back and straight up asked for more of a tip. Man I envy non-American dining culture. Anyways moral of the story is get food that’s baked or fried (or both!) so your stomach doesn’t risk the chance of getting smack downed by bacteria. Also please download Venmo so you don’t go through what I did . Good Chinatown spot overall though, just keep in mind you get what you pay for lol

Personal preference... the best comfort food and the best place to come unwind to yap with your friends. The food is worth all the hype! We had to stop ourselves from ordering the entire menu, but our table was already filled with so many delicious dishes. The colors were amazing, and the service was excellent—multiple water refills and quick removal of empty dishes to make room for more (:recs: dragonfruit soda-golden lava french toast-minced shrimp string beans-salted egg fried rice-beef chow fun(can’t go wrong w this one)-milk tea (dw you can still sleep at night w this one)soundtrack is lit too
